We are looking for a senior System Design Engineer in AD/ADAS for a long-term assignment with a player in autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems. You will be part of a System Design unit responsible for ensuring a cohesive and robust system design for an AD/ADAS platform. The role suits you if you want to work closely with requirements, overall architecture, and safety, and if you thrive in a complex technical environment where systematic approaches and traceability are crucial.

• Review, analyze, and validate incoming AD/ADAS requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Break down, harmonize, and allocate functional and non-functional requirements to system components
• Contribute to system design and architectural work at a high level
• Conduct safety analyses according to ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) as well as internal safety frameworks
• Develop technical safety concepts, system FMEA, and system design documentation (e.g., SRD and TSC)
• Analyze field data using FleetInsight
• Collaborate with verification and development teams on feasibility and implementation
• Follow up on system design, support implementation, and participate in product demonstrations as needed
• Contribute to the development of working methods, concepts, and patterns within system design
• Coordinate and follow up on work via System Design HUB, including sync meetings and KPI tracking

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent competence
• Several years of experience in product development within the automotive industry
• Documented experience in AD/ADAS development
• Good knowledge and practical experience in Functional Safety and/or SOTIF
• Strong competence in requirements-based system development and technical documentation
• Experience with requirements management tools such as SystemWeaver
• Ability to work structured, analytically, and cross-functionally in complex systems
• Ability to undergo a background check before the start of the assignment

• Practical experience with system FMEA and safety concepts
• Good understanding of architectural principles in complex systems
• Experience with Safe Driving Policy (SDP) or similar internal safety frameworks
